## Prove the read before the summary

Ask for these BEFORE any prose:

1. Every section heading you can see, in order, with the first eight words of each.
2. Whether the attachment arrived truncated, and at what character count.
3. Any heading listed in the table of contents that is missing from the extracted text.
4. Any run of text that looks interleaved, scrambled, or cut mid-clause.

## Anchor rules

- Every material claim carries a verbatim quote of 5–12 words from the document.
- Anything that cannot be anchored to a quote is written as "not established".
- Numbers are quoted with their unit, period, and denominator.
- Footnote text is quoted with the claim it qualifies, not summarized separately.
- The summary ends with a list of what the extraction never reached.

## Verification pass

- [ ] Search six anchor quotes in the original PDF. Each must appear verbatim.
- [ ] Recompute every number that drives the decision from the source table.
- [ ] Open every section flagged "not established" and read it.
- [ ] Confirm the summary's page range covers the whole document.

## Do not summarize — read

- [ ] Operative clauses in a contract, lease, or policy
- [ ] Anything to be quoted, cited, filed, or signed
- [ ] Legal, medical, regulatory, or safety-critical text
- [ ] Anything where what the document does NOT say is the point
