OpenCraft

Terms of Service

Effective 11 August 2026

OpenCraft is an AI chat and workspace product operated by Reprompt at opencraft.so. These terms are the agreement between you and Reprompt for using it. Using OpenCraft means you accept them. If you do not, do not use the service.

Questions about anything here: support@opencraft.so.

What OpenCraft does

OpenCraft is one thread in which you can chat with a range of AI models, search the web, generate images, write and version files (we call them artifacts), run code in a temporary cloud sandbox, and connect third-party tools over MCP. Which model answers a given turn is your choice; we route the request to that model’s provider on your behalf.

Your account

  • You can start using OpenCraft as a guest. A guest session is a real, anonymous account — your conversations are stored against it, and signing up later upgrades that same account rather than creating a new one, so your history carries over.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your sign-in credentials to yourself.
  • You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and at least 13. If you are using OpenCraft for an employer, you confirm you are allowed to agree to these terms on its behalf.
  • You can delete individual conversations from the app at any time. To delete your account and everything attached to it, email support@opencraft.so.

Acceptable use

Do not use OpenCraft to:

  • break the law, or help someone else break it;
  • generate content that sexualises minors, incites violence, or targets people for harassment;
  • attack anything from our infrastructure — the code sandbox has network access, and using it to scan, flood, or intrude on third-party systems gets your account closed without notice;
  • break out of the sandbox, reach another user’s data, or probe the service for weaknesses without telling us first (we would genuinely rather hear from you: support@opencraft.so);
  • work around usage limits, metering, or billing — for example by cycling through guest accounts;
  • resell raw model access, or use OpenCraft primarily as a proxy in front of a model provider.

Model providers have their own usage policies, and your prompts are subject to the policy of whichever provider serves the model you pick. A provider refusing or terminating a request is not something we can override.

Usage, credits, and payment

OpenCraft is priced by usage, not by seat or subscription. You can try it for free. Beyond that, work is paid for from a credit balance on your account.

  • What a turn costs. Each chat turn is metered from the cost the model provider reports for that exact request, so a cheap model on a short thread costs a fraction of a cent. Image generation is priced per image rather than per token, and web and image searches are priced per search (about a tenth of a cent each). Every turn is recorded, and you can see the running total in the app.
  • Usage limits. Every turn runs against a spend ceiling, and expensive work like video is capped per clip. We may change these limits or add new ones; they exist to keep the service up, not to bait you.
  • Top-ups. Credits are bought in fixed amounts through Stripe, our payment processor. A 15% service fee is added on top of the credit amount, and both numbers are shown at checkout before you pay — the amount you are charged is always the amount shown there.
  • Credits are prepaid and non-refundable except where the law says otherwise, or where we got the charge wrong — in which case, email us and we will fix it. They stay on your account until you spend them.
  • Running out. When your balance reaches zero, new turns are refused until you top up. Because a turn’s true cost is only known once it finishes, a balance can dip slightly below zero; we do not chase that, we just stop the next turn.
  • Prices can change. We will not change them retroactively for credits you have already bought.

Your content and model output

  • You keep your content. Prompts, uploads, and files you bring remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service: to store your content, and to send it to the model provider and tools required to answer your request.
  • Output is yours to use, as far as it is ours to give. We claim no ownership of what a model writes for you. AI output is not reliably unique — someone else may receive something similar — and copyright in machine-generated text and images is unsettled in most countries.
  • Check the output. Models get things wrong, invent citations, and write code with bugs. Nothing OpenCraft produces is legal, medical, financial, or professional advice. Decisions you make on the strength of it are yours.
  • We do not use your conversations to train our own models. What a model provider does with a request it receives is governed by that provider’s terms.

What your account does not grant

Using OpenCraft gives you the right to use the service, and nothing beyond it. It does not grant rights to the hosted service at opencraft.so itself, to the software behind it, or to the OpenCraft and Reprompt names and logos.

Availability, and what we do not promise

OpenCraft is provided as is. We do not promise it will be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular model will stay on the menu — models are added and retired by their providers, sometimes without warning. Sandboxes are temporary by design and their contents can be lost; keep anything you care about somewhere you control.

To the maximum extent the law allows, Reprompt is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim relating to OpenCraft is capped at the greater of $100 or what you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply to you only as far as they are permitted.

Suspension and ending things

You can stop using OpenCraft whenever you like. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that is putting the service or other users at risk; where it is reasonable to do so first, we will tell you why. If we close your account for a reason other than a breach by you, we will refund unspent credits.

Changes

We will update these terms as the product changes, and the effective date at the top always says when. For a change that materially affects you, we will give notice in the app or by email before it takes effect.
